A social badminton group who get together for a hit on Tuesday & Friday mornings.

Shuttlecocks and Hens is the new name of the Otumoetai badminton club formed some 34 years ago at the Baptist church.

Originally a 'Mother and Baby' group, we now consist mainly of retirees, although we still welcome mothers and their babies and indeed anyone who is free on Tuesday and Friday mornings.

Our new name indicates that whilst we play to the rules, our emphasis is on having a good time!
